Hi tomcanac, there are others here who could offer a more informed opinion but of the 10+mm ropes I have had (Sterling, Beal, Edelweiss, Edelrid), the Beal unicore, (67g/m) seemed by far the most durable. It's sheath (2x2 pic) held up incredibly well, no slippage and its handling remained almost the same over its life. I guess the construction of the rope plays a bigger role than the manufacturer?
